Questions: 1. Partner and Challenge - City of Fishers - help bring the community and businesses together through the two high schools with the annual Mudsock games - connect them to build pride and spirit with the community for both schools 2. I was drawn to this project because I love to be involved in the school and to bring both schools together through sports is a great opportunity because sports bring many people together and I am a big fan of many sports and have grown up loving and watching them. 3. Empathy In my initial interview I learned that there is a lot of passion behind this project because they really want to make it happen and I learned that I have to be patient because it is going to take time and many ideas. I also learned that you have to just throw any idea out there no matter what because if not, you don't know the possibility and what they could turn into. Reflection: 1. My favorite part was presenting our final proposal because we had so many good ideas and we narrowed it down to three great ones and they liked all three of ideas and thought they were good so that was refreshing and nice to hear. 2. I struggled with communication because our partner was hard to communicate with to schedule meetings and when she did communicate with us, it was only with one person from our group and it was not me. It was always hard for us to find a time where we could all meet. It would be nice if we were all sharing communication to know what we were doing at all times and know the plan. 3. Next time I would get us all on the same communication page and memo. I would also make a group email to communicate with our partner so all of us can respond and get the email of ideas or place and time of meeting. I would also like to bond as a group more before we started the project and met our community partner and to get to know our classmates better and why they picked or liked this project.
